The VAMOS manual is in the process of being translated into all official languages of the European Union. The translations will be soon available on this webpage.
The PRI World Congress 2009 “Young people and innovative road safety solutions”, which will be organized at the occasion of the PRI’s 50th anniversary, will take place on 24-26 June 2009 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, the European Youth Capital of 2009.
On October 13, 2008, the European Road Safety Day, Paris hosted the conference "Road Safety in Our Cities", which was complemented by an exhibition, where numerous organizations, e.g. DVR (the German Road Safety Council), DG TREN, FEVR - The European Federation of Road Safety Victims and the European road Safety Charter, presented their contribution to road safety.
The VAMOS project also had its place at the exhibition, where we presented the project and the participating organizations and we also displayed the scales indicating crash weight at 30, 50 and 90 km/h.

A meeting of partners in the Vamos poject, organized by the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies, took place in Athens between May 25 and 27, 2008.
The Safety Monitor (ETSC's Newsletter on transport Safety Policy Developments in the EU) reports:
"Road safety professionals, as all EU citizens, welcome the news that road safety will be a top priority on the Transport agenda for the Slovene Presidency of the EU in the first half of 2008.
A meeting of partners in the Vamos project, organized by the Dutch Traffic Association, took place in Amsterdam between December 12 and 15, 2007.
A special Vamos course for coordinators of voluntary work on local level in individual countries took place in Slovenia in Brdo near Kranj from May 30 to June 7, 2007. The course was attended by participants from Vamos partner countries and representatives of other countries, members of the PRI.
